I don't want to be chained to this world

I've always had this imagination that this world is reaching its limits.....i can't imagine what the world would be like in 20 to 50 years time. Especially in the I.T. field.

My perspective towards Earth is a planet overpopulated with humans, like a parasite eating up a cell eventually when its has been crowded to its maximum limit, not to mention the global warming that's headed our way.....chaos will ensue inevitably. Why do i say its overpopulated? Well for starters, we all know getting a job is much more difficult now but not as much during our parents time because I.T. was not fully established like it is now. Though im still waiting for another programming language what would come after C++ and what HTML5 can offer, but that doesn't matter....much. My parents keep telling me its only Diploma, I dare not talk back to them but im DOING I.T.! WAS YOUR TIME WITH THIS KIND OF I.T.? NOO! Im not trying to sound ungrateful but facts are facts, my time is just the beginning of new generation of I.T. society...i look forward to seeing the next generation of I.T. students or graduates with whatever great ideas that might come....if i live long enough to see it.

It's not so hard when you think about it.
Overpopulated+Unstoppable growth+natural resource slowly diminishing = War.
The political leaders of certain countries will always find a way manipulate and propagandize their own people to fight alongside with them. To me if my country asked me to go to war because of some foolish 'reason' i would definitely disobey. Sure enough that could lead me to being labeled as a 'traitor'. Im not trying to say im bragging, but you must know how to control influence....no matter what, even if its your own government.

But.....all this can be set aside if the whole world worked together. In what way? We need researchers, medical scientist, Programmers and analyst and the likes in the field of science to get us away from this earth! Don't want to sound so childish but we need space faring ships, vessels or cargo ships that could carry us miles away into space!
....The first destination? No doubt, the re-population of Mars.
Why Mars? Its been uncovered and no longer a secret that Mars used to be a planet like earth, though we have no idea what really made it into a planet with red sands all over......a small fact has been uncovered that it became the way it is now because of a century years old GLOBAL WARMING. I fear that Earth could be like this or another ice age phase. Speaking of which, until now Mars still has a small pocket of ice at its South Pole....that could do us some good for setting up research camps and start a small cultivation team. I may be quite naive in this topic, but you get what i mean.

Here is an unsolved pic, for now we wait till Curiosity Rover finishes its mission. The Rover's mission would take 668 Martian sols (23 Earth months) primary mission.
Landed on August 6, 2012. That would mean its mission would probably end somewhere on July 2014...

I made a promise to myself, eventhough i find it hard to believe that i could even succeed.....the last thing to do in my life before i kick the bucket is to go to space........hard to believe right? I mean who am i to have a privilege of being a volunteer or staff of a space exploration team? Im a nobody....im just a guy with average guy dreams...I even challenged my little brother who is probably going to take studies in engineering to see who at least gets to be in space....god help us all.

They say that we are not alone on this 3rd rock from the sun.....i say we still are till we have solid proof of any kind of social interaction with other species from other planets or galaxies. I just hope the majority of humans aren't xenophobic. Oh how i wish Hyperspace technology would arrive now. To me if we had hyperspace technology it'd be like a very gigantic step in technology for us, in layman's term, like going back in time to give Bill Gates or Steve Jobs the technology of 2TB HDD or more at the palm of their hands making the mere 1.44mb of a floppy disk so very obsolete that it could be shunned immediately.

But back on track, in a nutshell before i die, i wish to be in space and see space ships being created for the first time and live long enough to be able hear mankind has started populating Mars. If one of you think im childish, its like saying the Wright Brothers are childish, and i truly say you are whats wrong with the world. If not, than that's fine with me :)
